Virginia Children’s & Youth Services Staff Jam Session

Goal:  Virginia Children and Youth Services library staff to build community and crowd-source ideas and solutions to challenges.

Format:  Using the virtual platform Google Meets, the meeting will be open to all Virginia CYS staff, facilitated by LVA staff. Those attending will contribute to the agenda as well as the conversation. The meetings will NOT be recorded to preserve the free flow of ideas but notes will be created and dispersed to attendees (only attendees of each session).

Parameters:   Knowing this could be a potentially large group, the facilitator will encourage participation by all and discourage those who might monopolize conversations.  Participants will be asked to observe good virtual meeting etiquette by muting their mics when not speaking and not talking over one another.
