What is visual literacy, and why should you make it a part of your information literacy instruction? Today’s college students are surrounded by images. Students encounter images on social media and use them in academic projects in every kind of class imaginable. Attendees will learn how to help their students evaluate and find different kinds of images, with practical examples for a variety of classes.
