About the Instructor:
Jennifer Brown is the Youth and Family Services Manager for Suffolk Public Library. She earned her MSLIS in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University and her Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from Old Dominion University. She has also been recognized as the Alan Mandell Endowed Award for Instructional Design and Technology in 2017 and Virginia Library Association Librarian of the Year in 2019. At present Jennifer is working on a series of articles related to planning and implementing needs assessments in public libraries.
