Being criticized or getting workplace and performance feedback can be hard to take even when it is delivered correctly and on point. What are we really hearing when this happens?  What is the other person actually trying to say and how does this verbal dance influence the other dynamics in the library?

Applying simple to use coaching techniques, attendees will learn to deliver critical messages that produce results and in turn, be given the tools to filter out the noise and move towards better communication that produce positive results.  This interactive and engaging program will discuss ways to:

  • keep the conversation focused and on point
  • minimize the drama in the conversations
  • grow relationships with staff members while correcting their behaviors
  • help you remain calm
  • help you overcome past mistakes in delivering criticism to others
