This webinar continues a listserv discussion about citation and referencing issues in a global virtual reference cooperative. In virtual reference interactions, students often ask questions about citing (referencing) their sources, and it’s important for us to determine which citation style is needed. Teachers often require the use of a specific style. And regional preferences often determine which style to use.For example, In the U.S. the most common citation styles are APA, MLA and Chicago Style, while in the UK, a popular style is Harvard Referencing.
